Discuss it in Talkback

Dengeki GameCube magazine reviewed four games this month – Doubutsu Banchou, Kyojin no Doshin, Jikkyou World Soccer 2002, and Extreme G3.

Doubutsu Banchou received 32 out of 40 (8,8,7,9). Overall reviewers praised the game on its simple, but deep and addicting gameplay. Minus points included camera angle problems, and difficulty in telling apart different colored animals. On the other hand, Kyojin no Doshin only received 26 out of 40 (7,6,6,7). Reviewers seem to agree that although the idea behind the game is interesting, the gameplay is repetitive and slow. The other two games reviewed were Konami’s Jikkyou World Soccer 2002, which scored 30 out of 40 (7,7,8,8) and Extreme G3, which scored 26 out of 40.

Here are the scores once again:

  • Doubutsu Banchou (Animal Leader) (GCN, Nintendo) – 32 (8,8,7,9)

  • Kyojin no Doshin (Doshin the Giant) (GCN, Nintendo) – 26 (7,6,6,7)

  • Jikkyou World Soccer 2002 (ISS 2) (GCN, Konami) – 30 (7,7,8,8)

  • Extreme-G 3 (GCN, Taito) - 26 (7,7,6,6)
