Highly Anticipated mortalkombat.midway.com Gives Mortal Kombat Fans Access to Content for All-New Next-Generation Version of Popular Fighting Game Franchise

London - March 6, 2002 - Midway Games Inc. (NYSE: MWY), a leading software industry publisher and developer, announced today that the Web site for Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance --mortalkombat.midway.com -- has launched. The site will give Mortal Kombat fans access to information and assets for the next-generation version of the videogame. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is currently in development and scheduled to ship fall 2002 for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, the XboxTM video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCubeTM and Game Boy® Advance.

The new Mortal Kombat Web site contains a download section, featuring various Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance-themed items to choose from, such as wallpaper, screensavers and banners. Additional content such as FMV, gameplay video footage and bulletin boards are planned.
