Facelift is actually more like it. Nintendo’s GameCube site has updated with more goodies, info and fun than ever before!
If you haven’t been to Nintendogamecube.com recently, it may be time you checked it out again. Before, filled with primarily games, wallpaper and Cube Club information, the site has now greatly expanded. A developer section has been added, where EAD’s Shigeru Miyamoto, Rare’s Chris Stamper, EA’s and Sega / Sonic Team’s Yuji Naka all comment with their thoughts on the new Nintendo hardware. There’s also an interview with GameCube hardware designer, Ashida Kenichiro.
The hardware is profiled and even the online issue is addressed, with 56k and Broadband modems profiled, with the accompanying statement: “Potential uses for these devices are still in the planning stages, but the Nintendo GameCube is fully capable of supporting online gaming.”
