Ubi Soft has announced it will be publishing the next game in the RPG series Evolution for the GameCube.

Ubi Soft has signed a deal to publish the next game in the Evolution series, Evolution Worlds, for the Nintendo GameCube. It is being developed by Sting and ESP. The game will be released worldwide in the first half of 2002, except in Japan, China, Korea, and Taiwan. Evolution first appeared on the Dreamcast and spawned a second game. Evolution Worlds will be the third game in the series. Worlds is supposed to dramatically improve both the visuals and the gameplay in the series.

Ubi Soft president and CEO, Yves Guillemot had this to say:

"Ubi Soft is committed to bringing quality games to every next generation console system. This deal with ESP gives us the ability to satisfy the demanding appetites of the huge RPG fan community who is looking for more bang for their buck on a high-end system."
