While covering the Resident Evil announcements at ungodly hours of the morning, one of the questions we asked ourselves was (somewhat jokingly), "What will Denis Dyack think of all this?" On one hand, he's developing what could be considered a competitor to the RE series...on the other hand, we know him to be a big fan of Capcom's survival-horror games.

In the end, we decided to contact him just for the hell of it, hoping he could offer some publishable comment. Here's what he replied with:

“I am very excited about the RE series coming to the GCN and cannot wait to play them. This is yet another example that shows how much Nintendo is committed to gamers, all gamers. It is great to see Capcom on board with the GCN. This is yet another step that helps show that the GCN is the premium gaming platform.”

Just thought you'd like to know what he thought...we certainly did.
