Ed's Day 2 Thoughts

by Ed Shih - March 21, 2001, 11:36 am EST

Well, Day 2 is over...and once again it's late, I'm tired, and I have to be up again in a few hours.

Day 2 has passed and it wasn't all that different from Day 1. And, like my pre-show impressions, I'm going to slack here so I can feed myself and get as much sleep as I can before waking up early again to hit Day 3. I'll certainly have to re-think the commute for next year. Anyhoo, the main Nintendo news is already up elsewhere. It was quite surprising to see a GameCube controller out in the open waiting for someone to pick it up. If you don't know what I'm talking about yet, do yourself a favor and go to the recently updated GameCube Controller Preview page. As for the rest of my day, I got to wander around the Expo floor a bit more today, attended a lecture, tried out my new GBA, and attended the IGDA Awards Show at night. More details will follow when the show's over, I promise. For now, I need to make sure I'll be ready for an even better day tomorrow since the bulk of the lectures that I'm really interested in start tomorrow morning and go on for most of the day. So, sorry for the short impressions...but at least I got the controller story out! Good night.
