The wrapping comes off the brand spankin' new Nintendo.com. Some interesting new things inside! Spiffy!

Nintendo has launched the new Nintendo.com. November 2001 is the date Nintendo is sticking with for the release of GameCube.

NINTENDO GAMECUBE is scheduled to be released in North America in November 2001. We will be providing more availability and price information as that date approaches.

As that date approaches? What about E3?!

Checking out the GBA side of things, an interesting note appears:

Description

We don't want to give too much away, but think about the possibilities of connecting individual GBA systems to Nintendo GAMECUBE...you might secretly select your next offensive set in a football game or download part of a Nintendo GAMECUBE game for portable play...or even...

The second part is what really caught my eye. This could be something to the effect like VMU mini games that could be downloaded onto VMU's. None of them were worth much on a VMU due to the fact that the screen and memory were too small, but on a GBA mini games could be a viable (and much welcomed) option. I've been drooling about the GBA Football concept ever since Shiggy brought it up at Space World.
