The maker of Gameshark has licensed Nyko's patented light technology for its upcoming GBA accessories.

InterAct sent out a press release today announcing a license agreement with Nyko to bring the same technology behind the Worm Light to InterAct's GBA hardware. You may remember that Nyko was issued a U.S. patent for the Worm Light technology earlier this year, and because of that, no one can legally make handheld gaming system lights that draw power through the comm port without getting a license from Nyko. InterAct is the first company to do so, but don't expect them to be the last. The first product under the license is GlowGuard for Game Boy Advance, although some GB Color products will be retroactively covered as well. Check out our GlowGuard hardware profile for more info on it, and hopefully we'll have some pictures of it very soon.
