The developer of Tyrannosaurus Tex gives up on the handheld market in favor of PC development, citing the cartridge business model as the primary motivation.

A notice at Slitherine's website confirms that the incredible GBC first-person shooter Tyrannosaurus Tex still does not have a publisher. Although the developer is still hoping for a miracle, they have decided to leave the GBC/GBA and focus on the PC market. They claim that the low profit margin for handheld cartridges has made publishers wary of their unlicensed game. Slitherine is now working on a strategy game for the PC; developers there have worked on such projects as Command & Conquer: Red Alert and Dune 2000 in the past.
