Sony likes emulation when it isn't a PlayStation being emulated.

Game Boy is coming to PS2 thanks to Datel of the U.K. The product, named “Game Studio,” will come out in England in April. The product consists of emulation software, a GB/GBC to Memory port adapter, and 6 built-in games. But the British company isn’t stopping there—it has found a way to use the PS2 to improve the graphics with high resolution, bi-linear filtering, and graduated colors to make the games look richer. Although this is an unofficial product, Datel has approached Sony and it does not condone the product. A US release is expected later this year.
