Revelations on the nature of the limited 4 player/1 cart mode in F-Zero clear up some info from yesterday's Majesco event.
At yesterday's Majesco event, there was a question regarding 4 player capability with 1 cartridge. It turns out Majesco wasn't quite sure how to pull it off yet. At the time, I thought it was a case of Nintendo not giving enough technical support to their developers, but it seems that the feat is trickier than previously believed as is the case of F-Zero's single track that allows for "one cartridge play." Time will tell what EAD and other developers can pull off "one cartridge play."
