Finally! Details concerning the American launch of the AGB!

Wow! Finally we've got some concrete information about the American launch of the AGB!

Nintendo's Gameboy.com has the details:

"Game Boy Advance will launch in Japan on March 21st, with a MSRP of 9,800 yen. Game Boy Advance will launch in the United States on June 11th, with a MSRP of $99.95. By the end of June 2001, Nintendo hopes to have launched Game Boy Advance across the entire globe. Nintendo is planning to ship 24 million units by the end of this fiscal year (March 2002). "

Also, another tidbit sure to delight SNES fans:

"The most exciting moment of Mr. Iwata's speech was when he announced Nintendo's plans to produce new updated versions of classic games like Metroid, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story. Of course, this does not guarantee that these titles will be available in the United States."

You heard that right my friends. Mario, Samus and Link all return for some portable joy!
