Wow, IGN Pocket is just running rampant with news lately. This story is a few days old. After some internal debate we've finally decided to post something about it. Nintendo of Canada has released a picture that appears to be the North American box for the Game Boy Advance. Though nothing has been confirmed, hence the late posting. This could very well be the box that you will be opening on June 11th, 2001, when the Game Boy Advance releases in the United States. It is also possible that this is just a prototype box dreamt up by some guys at Nintendo of Canada's marketing department. I'm favoring the former personally. I just don't think that Nintendo would release a brand new system in a box that so very much resembles that of the old system. Traditionally, new systems are totally new and should borrow nothing from old systems in the marketing department.
