In a Wall Street Journal report America Online Chairman and CEO Steve Case said his company will support game machines. The Journal reminds us that Case was a 25-year-old marketing manager at Control Video, which later became AOL, when that company sold a GameLine Master Module that attached to the Atari 2600 console and allowed users to download videogames from its server computers. That product bombed, but AOL is going strong. It is the largest ISP in the US with more than 18 million members.
