Could a Nintendo/Sega jointly-developed RPG be on the way? Peter Main dodges questions and gives mysterious facial expressions...

Segadojo is reporting that in a Gameweek interview with Peter Main, there where more hints to the rumored Sega/Nintendo RPG. Main was asked the obvious questions about the Nintendo GameCube and the Game Boy Advance. He was also asked about the Sega/Nintendo deal.

When asked about Sega's shaky financial situation, Mr. Main replied, "You know, I like [Sega] because they have some great assets; some phenomenal software. They're also doing some nice things with online content. I don't know that they've fully enunciated their strategy, so it's difficult to say what's going to happen to them, really." Gameweek also brought up the subject of cross-company games, much like what Capcom and SNK have done in the past. On whether or not Sega and Nintendo might team up in the future for Gamecube or Dreamcast games, the VP of sales said "Sega has some fantastic assets and sure, I'd love to have a shot at some of them." But perhaps the most interesting comment he made was when he was questioned about the rumored Sega/Nintendo RPG that was circulating a few months ago. When asked about the RPG, all he gave was the enigmatic response "No comment. (smiles)"
It should be noted that I would have linked directly to the Gameweek interview, but I couldn't find it on their site. You might be able to find it at their main site.
