Young developer Sandbox Studios told me today that they are working on GBA games and will soon start on GameCube development. Their first Game Boy Advance game will be a 2D platformer somehow utilizing a very impressive vector graphics technology. I've uploaded the
to our server so the 2MB download won't eat up their bandwidth, but you can find both it and the platform tech demo at their website. They are also building technologies for other types of games on the GBA. In addition, Sandbox is currently in planning stages for GameCube development, which will begin around March. The first game will carry "a major license", but no other details are available. Stay tuned for more info on this exciting upcoming developer!
