Ding-Dong! I'm WRONG!!!

Max admits that he is not, afterall, omnipotent. He also now owes all our readers a Coke.

Well, I'd like to say that as Editor-in-Chief of PlanetN2000, I am the ultimate Smarty Man of Smarty Men! Of course, time and again I am exposed for the phony I am -so it's a good thing I don't boast like that! Early this morning (and I mean like nearly 12 hours ago) I found out that Left Field Studios currently have two games in development for NGC. IGN Cube announced one last night, a new NBA Courtside. The other, I felt for sure, would be Excitebike. Had I cracked the case or simply was I making a case after smoking crack? Well, neither really, (although I was cracked out & tired when I wrote my "It Must Be Excitebike Manifesto.") Well, despite the best laid arguments courtesy of the voices in my head, a little bird has told me that this second title is NOT Excitebike. Not yet anyway. However, it is something you should find very exciting, even though it isn't Punch Out or Kid Icarus. What is it? I'll never tell!

Looks like you're going to have to read IGNCube tonight after all to learn the truth. It's their story and their fault for laying hints that sent me off on my loony-spiel earlier. Can you blame me for going nuts, so close to a new Excitebike?!?

You also might want to catch the wily IGN-boys in their first "live" broadcast, (which should be starting around now-ish) as Mr. Matt "Ima Gonna Win" Casamassina and Fran "I am the 3rd generation of effeminately named males" Mirabella are teasing us that they may have hints about the true (and not delusion deduced) nature of Left Field's mystery game during the broadcast. For details on how to check out the IGN Cube Live Broadcast, click on this extraordinarily long, descriptive link.

The good news is that I have found out early enough to retract my passionate theory before looking like a complete ass (feeling like one is something else entirely). The bad news is that I suppose I now owe each and every one of you a Coke. =P

Meanwhile, our vigil for the Metroid announcement continues...
