Nintendo has announced the price for GBA and its games in Japan--and it ain't cheap!

Nintendo representives in Japan have spoken about the GBA's details, including pricing and launch titles. Set for release in Japan on March 21st the handheld will retail for 9800 Yen ($95 US / approx. $170 AUS). Next on the menu are launch titles and Nintendo are going to provide four. Those titles include Mario Kart Advance, F-Zero Advance, Napoleon and Hanasaki Kasen which would all retail as approximatley 4800 Yen ($45 US / approx $80 AUS). No word as to what third party game releases will coincide with the launch. For those of you planning on importing the handheld next year would most likely need to start setting aside those extra bucks as of now. Those of us here at PlanetN2000 will have to cut down our crack intake to a measly $800 a week habit, sure it'll be tough but we want our GBA's!
