La Femme Nikita cubed?

La Femme Nikita is coming to "multiple next-generation consoles" with team based coop play to boot.

Infogrames, through a licensing agreement with Warner Bros., will release a La Femme Nikita game for multiple next-gen platforms. Players will be able to play as either Nikita or Michael (a member of an antiterrorist group). The designers intend to integrate action and cooperative team play over the course of multiple missions.

If there is one thing that has been lacking in the 3d generation of gaming, it is cooperative gameplay. If the developers on the project can successfully achieve their vision, this game could be a lot of fun. There is currently no word on which next-gen platforms the game will be coming to, but I would say that an eventual GameCube release is at least possible. There is also no word on whether or not the cooperative play will take place via split screen, modem or your choice of the two.

Infogrames also has the rights to Looney Tunes, Dragon Ball Z, and Peanuts.
