More Zelda love? Hell yes!

Mmmmmm....Zelda news on a Monday. Good thing. Game Fan Online says there's a possiblility Zelda will get an add-on pack. Looks like we all won't have to wait for the N2000 and the next installment of Zelda to cruise around Hyrule again!

Sources have informed GameFan Online that a Zelda 64 lock-on cartridge is in the works. A sequel of sorts, this game will be hitting stores later this year. It will allow for owners of the original to play through all new levels and quests.

As you may remember, Nintendo has been working on additional material for Zelda 64 that would be downloadable via the 64DD. Since the chances for that system ever seeing the light of the day in the US (or Japan for that matter) seem to grow smaller each day, it now seems as though Nintendo would rather release add-ons with cart lock-on technology.
