More stuff from our friends at IGN64. It's been rumored that a Star Wars RPG has been in the works and today LucasArts confirmed it. What's this have to do with Dolphin? Maybe nothing, or maybe (hopefully) we'll see it. IGN64 got the usual vague answer when they asked a LucasArts rep. Still, there's a ray of hope for Star Wars fans like myself to sit in front of my Dolphin and kick some hippie-Jedi butt with a Sith lord. None of that standing above the hanging Padawan taunting stuff for me...nope, take Qui-Gon's light saber, light it up, and drop it right on the Obi-wan's head. >) See ya young Padawan! IGN64 contacted LucasArts' public relations manager Tom Sarris to find out whether or not the firm has any specific plans to bring the game to Nintendo's next-generation console, who offered, "The Dolphin is among several next-generation platforms that are under consideration." When we factor in that LucasArts and Nintendo have always been strong partners, we get a warm, happy feeling in our bellies.
