Gamespot is reporting that the GameBoy Advance will feature tilting technology.

The guys at Gamespot are reporting that the Gameboy Advance will also use the tilting technology that will be used in Kirby's Tilt N' Tumble. Looks like we'll be shaking the AGB when it hits U.S. shores next year. Also, I can't help but wonder if Nintendo really likes this technology, might we see it somehow incorporated into Project Dolphin (the controller?). Of course, since a rumble feature is already set to be built into the controller, maybe not. Rumble + Active Tilt Sensor = Potential Chaos. Still, you never know...

"Nikkei Online reported today that Nintendo plans to use the Tilt Cartridge on new games for the Game Boy Advance. Using automobile-airbag sensor technology developed by the Massachusetts-based company Analog Devices, the Tilt Cartridge lets players control characters in a game by moving the Game Boy unit itself. The first game to use the Tilt Cartridge is Kirby's Tilt N' Tumble, which is scheduled for release August 23 in Japan. Meanwhile, the GameBoy Advance is scheduled for release at end of this year in Japan."
