We knew Alone in the Dark was coming to GBC. Could it be headed to GBA too? Sure sounds like it!

Pocket Studios, makers of the upcoming handheld version of the Playstation Alone In The Dark game, have hinted to FGNonline about possible advancements that the GBA could bring to the franchise.

"Here's what we have planned to date, characters could be texture mapped polygons like in the original. We could increase the number of backgrounds in the game through compression. Combat could be restored to the adventure section with GBA. The music and SFX would be dramatically improved and we could implement the torch in the game, which would heighten fear and tension. AVI movies could also tell the story instead of static screens. This is just a taste of the improvements that could be implemented."

Some interesting insight into the capabilities of the handheld which seem to fit what we've been hearing all along. The addition of polygonal characters hints at the GBA having a limited capability of producing 3D graphics, as the backgrounds remain static 2D images.
