Hang on, we're not sure if anyone in the US can hear us over the fireworks.

On the revenge of the 5th, the eShop takes the spotlight here. Among the brand new titles for North America are SpiritSphere DX and the long, long awaited Pocket Rumble, while fans of the older titles can tackle the Bowhemoth one more time in Runbow or take on a Squids Odyssey. Gearbox Publishing has also crossed over to the Switch with Burnwell, and thankfully we've been spared a tweet from the company's nominal head about it.

The awkward yet critically acclaimed visual novel Nekopara (volume 1) has also made its way to the Switch, as well as Talk Nintendo's game of the week in Miles & Kilo from the developer of Kid Tripp. The worldwide archives get Samurai Shodown V, while North America also gets Data East's Two Crude Dudes.

Europe brings a similar lineup - barring the demo for WarioWare Gold - but they also have a board game debuting Saturday that drew the rare Sunday release in North America so we'll include it in next week's lineup. Meanwhile in Japan, the developer and publisher who brought the Gunbird series are dipping into another one... a D (17+) rated mahjongg game. Also, it's not listed here because the market that can use it is small, but there's about 500 3DS games on sale in Japan this week.
