All the fun of the board games without having to pick up pieces afterwards.

The Switch will be able to determine a chairman of the board this winter.

VentureBeat has confirmed that Asmodee Digital, publisher of multiple digital adaptations of board games, will begun publishing versions of its licenses on Switch starting with Carcassone. In the statement to VentureBeat, Asmodee confirmed that it would be the "first of many" Switch titles.

Asmodee has published digital versions of Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, and Pandemic in the past.

Nice - I'm a big board game fan, but these games have largely skipped Nintendo platforms. (Not entirely true. DS and WiiWare both got a few digital conversions.)

Don't own a Switch yet, but having Asmodee games coming out makes it sound more appealing.
For those who don't know, Asmodee is a major publisher who have been buying up many of the more popular board game companies. I'd love to see some of the Fantasy Flight catalog also come out for Switch owners...

I'd get a Switch version of TTR and Pandemic in a heartbeat, if the price is right.

ie, not like Monopoly was.

Having just played it for the first time recently, Carcassone is the perfect kind of board game to have a video game version of.

I got Carcassone as a Free Amazon App of the Day a while ago, and it was great there. So long as it has sound performance I'll gladly pay money for a version on Switch. The tablet is large enough to serve as a travel size game board for a lot of titles so I hope we get a lot of these.

Nerds of Catan could be nice but I love the tactile feel of the board/pieces for that game.
