Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil.

We repored last week that Ubi Soft may be porting their Evil Twin - Cyprien's Chronicles to the Dolphin. So what actually is it? FGN talked to Jean-Bernard Jacon the producer of the project and he shed some light on the games premise. Since I've been having reoccuring nightmares about Ty killing me in my sleep at E3 Killer Instinct style, I felt it was relevant. Read on!

Ubi Soft announced Evil Twin - Cyprien's Chronicles last week and FGN Online talked to producer Jean-Bernard Jacon about the inspiration behind the visually stunning dreamscape.

In Utero is developing the game, which plunges gamers into a twisted nightmare adventure, inspired by the imagination of a ten-year old child.

Jacon explained the genesis of the game. "Originally the idea was to make a cartoon, animation of the dreams of a child. Each episode was going to be a twisted version of the real world, recognizable but really dark and imaginative," says Jacon. "The idea was really good but at that time it wasn't possible to make the cartoon, so the idea was adapted to a videogame."

That goes some way to explain the stunning visuals already released. As well as some of the storyline, Jacon explained the developer's inspiration for the various nightmare worlds the gamer will come across. "The visuals are really dark and twisted, so although it’s a cartoon like feel this is definitely not for the kids. I'm not saying it's gore and violent, its not at all but the visuals are like Tim Burton's A Nightmare Before Christmas or the Jean-Pierre Jeunet film The City of Lost Children."
