MCV has learned that Lego Media has two sequels in the works for 2001. British studio Silicon Dreams is developing Lego Island 2 for the PC. The original SKU is Lego Media's biggest hit to date. Hot on the heels of the critically acclaimed Rollcage 2 (Psygnosis), developer ATD has been awarded the Lego Racers sequel.

Lego Media announced at Toy Fair that it would be expanding its development to include next-generation platforms. While no specific platforms have been named by the company, MCV believes PlayStation2 and Dolphin are likely choices, since the company currently supports PlayStation and Nintendo 64. While Lego Racers shipped for PC, N64 and PS, its sequel seems a likely candidate for next-generation platforms.
