A smorgasboard of RPG goodness from Atlus

Atlus featured prominently in today's 3DS announcements with a new game and a demo to announce.

In addition to Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology and Shin Megami Tensei Deep Strange Journey, Atlus will be bringing The Alliance Alive to North America next year. Developed by FuRyu, the title is a follow up to 2015's Legend of Legacy.

Etrian Odyssey V will release next month, and a demo version of the game will be available on the eShop shortly. As with previous Etrian demos progress will carry over to the final game.

I think Evan_B was really hoping for Alliance Alive to get ported. Imagine he'll be excited about that news.

One of the big takeaways I got from this Direct is that the 3DS is going to be lit in 2018! Nintendo weren't just talking when they said they would support the system through next year.

Even though I haven't yet played The Legend of Legacy, I was also hoping that The Alliance Alive would release here. Can never have enough RPGs! ...Maybe.
