For the 2/3 of Wii U owners who have yet to stay fresh.

The Splatfests may be done, but the splatting doesn't stop.

Nintendo has announced that the Splatoon Global Testfire will be restarting soon. European players will get to play first, with the demo restarting this Thursday (18 August) and running until 1 September. North American players will get to join in from 3 - 5 Pacific time (6 - 8 Eastern) from August 25 - 28.

The basic weapon set of Splattershot, Splattershot Jr, Splat Roller and Splat Charger will be available to try, with Walleye Warehouse and Saltspray Rig as the available stages.

Huh, interesting that they're still running these.

They should probably block people who own the game from playing this, so that no one storms in and slaughters all the n00bs with the Splat Charger.

Maybe they will resume Splatfests after some test-fires are played out to increase the player count?

I would think by the time they did a few test fires, the sequel would be out.
