One adds weapons, one takes a really broken one away.
In addition to the usual Monday maintenance next week, two major games will have maintenance ahead of game updates.
Splatoon will have a maintenance Tuesday at 8:50 - 10:30 Eastern time to prepare for the version 2.7 update. The update, announced in last month's Nintendo Direct, will bring eight new weapon sets to the game. The Squid Research Lab has announced four of them:
- Wasabi Splattershot (Splat Bomb sub, Inkstrike special)
- Berry Splattershot Pro (Suction Bomb sub, Bomb Rush special)
- Fresh Squiffer (Suction Bomb sub, Kraken special)
- Permanent Inkbrush (Splat Bomb sub, Kraken special)
On the same night, a Pokkén Tournament maintenance will be in place from 9:50 - 11:30 Eastern time to prepare the fighter's first game update. Several balance changes are expected, including the removal of a Shadow Mewtwo infinite damage combo.
