Remember; The soft reset command on a 3DS is L+R+Start

Let’s face it: There’s one major game in the lineup this week for North America, though there’s two versions of it. Fire Emblem Fates, the long-awaited 3DS RPG in a year full of them, brings along its season pass and the first (free) pack for the ride. Though hopefully, you’re paying $80/$100 for all three versions physically, that’s beyond the scope of this column. In case you forgot why this is big, go read Kim's review again.

The 3DS is jumping a little bit if you’re not looking for medieval allegory; Project X Zone 2 has been out since Tuesday, providing a dash of action combat and a whole lot of fanservice (in both senses of the word). In the old school department, we’ve got plenty of beatings on the Wii U Virtual Console, and the price drop of 2014’s Game of the Year.

Europe’s cupboard is slightly bare this week, you’d think there was something coming. There’s a retail RPG (Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon), a RPG at retail in other territories (Return to Popolocrois) and the Sega Dreamcast theme in a moment of AWESOME.

Oh, that dream cast theme is out, that's nice

So, I'm safe in assuming the Pokemon won't have a $20 DLC that nullifies the need for trading? I kinda wish Nintendo were brave enough to charge $60 for Fire Emblem Fates. People are constantly reminding me how games should cost more than they do.
