Now, how many Pokémon have the letter "N" in their name...?

Pokkén Tournament's roster will expand slightly next week.

The game's official Twitter announced today that they plan to unleash the next playable Pokémon into the game on December 10. According to Gematsu the teaser contains the Japanese character ン, which roughly translates to the letter N with no vowels.

Pokkén Tournament will launch on Wii U on March 18 in Japan, with Western releases to follow in the spring.

There goes my hopes for Scyther being added anytime soon.

I imagine this could mean a Gen 5 pokemon of some sort, as it could be a Pokemon closely associated with N the trainer. also, the N/M Katakana are sorta interchangable, but note the use of Katakana. usually, Katakana is used specifically for the transcription of foreign words adapted into the Japanese language. Unova was presented as the pokemon equivalent of New York City and it's surrounding suburbs in pokemon form, which I'd say is pretty foreign.

the problem therein is that of course N purposefully would not use the same pokemon for long since he was all about their liberation. the only pokemon he's used more than once in a battle against the player character was Reshiram/Zekrom and Vanilluxe. the only evolution line would be the Kinklang line, but... I feel if we were going to go with a popular pokemon that N has used, it'd probably be Zoroark?
