You'll be able to play the next entry in the Fire Emblem series in February.

Fire Emblem Fates will be arriving to the Nintendo 3DS on February 19, with plenty of purchase options to choose from.

You can buy either Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright or Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest digitally or physically for $39.99. Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation is the third version of the game, but will not be released right away. If you buy one version of Birthright or Conquest, you can buy the other (as well as the DLC), with the other version costing $19.99.

Additionally, a bundle entitled Fire Emblem Fates: Special Edition will net you all three games, including an art book and a 3DS XL pouch. The bundle has a suggested retail price of $79.99.

DLC will also be coming. One map will be coming for free, then six more later on. You can buy maps individually, or you get them all at once via retail.

Thrilled about the Special Edition pack coming to North America. Didn't expect NoA to do that because... well, just because.  But definitely the way I'm interested in buying.

No price listed for the edition?

What an expensive game... not sure I'll buy into it unless I find a good discount.

SorenNovember 12, 2015

Of course I'm getting the Special Edition. It was listed as $79.99 on the direct.

ejamerNovember 12, 2015

$80 is expensive (especially once converted to CAD - that's like infinity or something) but still seems like good value. The normal game is $40, then $20 for the extra campaign, then more DLC for the final story... getting it on one disc with some bonus goods to boot almost feels like a steal.

Here's hoping the preorders don't sell out in minutes and get scalped for triple the price.

StratosNovember 12, 2015

It had better not sell out. I was burned by Majora, I do not want to get burned again.

WahNovember 12, 2015

Pre-ordering that special edition! so worth the $100 oz dollars it will properly be!

StratosNovember 12, 2015

Pre-orders are live on Amazon and BesyBuy! Gogogoogogogggooglego!!!111oneoneeleven

WahNovember 12, 2015

Na, i'll pre-order at oz EB, when it comes out.

StratosNovember 12, 2015

I was speaking for US folks. No ideas when/if/where international pre-orders go live.

SorenNovember 12, 2015

Pre-ordered both this and TPHD. I'll definitely get this game, not so sure about Twilight Princess. That amiibo is tempting though.

fred13November 13, 2015

Are you kidding. It's already sold out at Best Buy!!!

StratosNovember 13, 2015

If you missed BB and Amazon word is that Gamestop is still accepting in-store preorders.

ejamerNovember 13, 2015

So is the "special edition" really just the normal game with some DLC codes packed in?
Saw an image, and it looked like the game included was just the normal white version of the game...

StratosNovember 14, 2015

If it is like the Japanese one both games are on one card with a special sticker on it.

I'm pretty sure in the direct they said it was all on a single cart. That's why it's appealing to me I use 3 different systems and I don't want to have to limit myself to playing this game on just one of them
