Spy on your friends, check out map rotations and mor(ay)!
A previously Japan-only feature of Splatoon has come west in the form of the new Splatnet.
Accessible at splatoon.nintendo.net, the website functions with a NNID and allows you to see who on your friends list is playing the game, and make "battle plans" to jump into the fight. Players can also see their equipment, get ranking percentages and see the current map rotations as well as for the next two rotations.
In other Splatoon news, the next round of Splatfests will happen this weekend in Japan and North America. Japan will feature Callie's Squid sushi against Marie's Octopus sushi, while North America will have Callie representing car travel against Marie's plane travel. No PAL Splatfest has been announced at this time, though North America appears to be on pace for a Splatfest on Hallowe'en assuming a three week pace.
