Darn, no Wii Sports Club. I'll have to think about this. I have most of the games I'm interested in here.

ejamerApril 01, 2015

In a way, I'm disappointed. Was really hoping to download Super Mario Land 3D on my 3DS for free as a Platinum prize once it was listed in the batch of normal prized, but that's not one of the freebies for Platinum members.  (Wii Sports Club was another game I was kind of hoping would show up.)

However, the choices that are given include lots of great games.  Tropical Freeze is an easy pick for me, although Pushmo World, Mario Golf World Tour, and Mario Kart 7 are also appealing options.  There is even one of the Gold choices that I'd be happy with in Crashmo...

Hopefully others will also get some value from what's being offered. But if you do have them all, feel free to send a code my way anytime.  ;)

Farewell, Club Nintendo!  Despite the non-stop griping that went on, I got a lot of value from the program and will miss the little freebies being sent my way.

I'm (finally) getting Tropical Freeze. But New Leaf would have been second on the list for sure.

Last year I got platinum only to discover that all the games on the list I wanted I had already purchased so I gave it to my sister. This year there are several I want, but haven't yet bought so I have to decide which one I want the most.

And for the second consecutive day, I can't even access the damned website.

Also, boooo... no silver Mario amiibo.

ForgottenPearlApril 01, 2015

Hmm...  I'm gold status, and just about every game on the list is one I have or one I don't want.  I don't play puzzle games often, but I think I'll give Pushmo a shot.  Based on reviews, Crashmo can be tough for newcomers.

My "best" option here is Yoshi's New Island. That just says it all, really.

Why do Super Mario Galaxy and Punch-Out!! have "(Wii)" next to them? Unless Nintendo is physically shipping out Wii discs of those games (which would make absolutely no sense considering they both have new downloadable Wii U-specific versions), that's inaccurate and needlessly confusing.

Art_de_CatApril 01, 2015

Bman, they are downloads that play in Wii mode, so you are not to expect to use miiverse and such with it.

Of the retail games, i either dont want sports titles, or party games. And that leaves me with two games i already sold off a long time ago.  Though i have had an itch to replay AC:NL....

Same here. I'm not complaining though, it's nice these rewards are available for those who are interested.

Yeah, I'll miss it too, but looking forward to the new program, whatever it may be.

That would have been nice to those who don't own it. A physical version, at least in the US, costs around $40-50 used!

Bman87301April 01, 2015

Are you sure? I may not have a Wii U myself, but I could have sworn those were Wii U-specific ports...

Looks like my friend who inherited my old 3DS is going to get another game from me off Club Nintendo.

They're Wii-U specific in that you can download them on the eShop. But they can only be played on Wii mode, with Wii controllers (no GamePad or Pro Controller support) and no Wii U features (Miiverse, Save states, button re-mapping). They're ROMs basically.

Looks like it's Mario Golf for me... got 10,000 blocks left on my 3DS XL card, is it enough?

It'll use about 40-50% of the space. 4200 for the core download, 500 or so if you get the season pass with it.

When u say Elite I think of this..

BlackNMild2k1April 01, 2015

and the site is still "down".

ridiculous. Where is all this enthusiasm for Nintendo at the register?

They should have let me mail or fax in my surveys and and send me my points on a gift card later.

StrawHousePigApril 04, 2015

What are they running this on an eMachine?

Not to mention it's *click-click-click-click* to order anything. Amazon's been doing one-click for how long now? Every one of these clicks increases my chance of the site vomiting all over itself. OMG #2015problems
