Now even more balanced!

Nintendo has released an update for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. The new update, version 1.0.3, contains minor balancing improvements and also a change to the Conquest mode for the game.

When playing in the Conquest mode, the Conquest Chart will no longer be displayed.

The update, which also includes the content from the previous update which enabled online play, was released on October 27, 2014.

When creating updates for balance concerns.  I wish they would mention what the changes are.  That way we can learn more about how to use the characters, and what changes to look for when  battling online.

I get how that would be useful, but I'm guessing that the specifics aren't going to be immediately useful to the majority of people, and I'm also guessing that they're trying to sidestep complaint fodder "they nerfed my main!" and the like.  It's like when they had updates to patch out certain hacks in system firmware.  You don't want to directly tell people that you're closing this problem gap because you'd be sending users a negative message, not a positive one, "Hey, we improved performance on the backend!"

There actually are no character gameplay changes in this patch.  A dump+diff of the files has confirmed this.

The message on Nintendo's help site for this downloads seems to be generic.  It was also on the previous patch's help page, which was only a critical bugfix for Peach in For Glory mode.
