Do you find yourself in the mood for revenge, or are you seeking just a challenge?

Summer’s heading to a close, but that doesn’t mean the Download is winding down. Well, actually, it’s a little sparse, including this week. But the big fall season is coming, and that means a ton of great games are coming down the pipeline (pun intended). This week we have some Virtual Console titles out such as Double Dragon II and Mega Man: Battle Chip Challenge as well as some new fare like Soon Shine. Not much else to note, other than this. In terms of eighties subtitles, there are no better subtitles for a video game than The Revenge. If you can think of a better one, let me know.

I like how the cover art to DD2 (btw big props for putting that up!) depicts a scene that NEVER OCCURS IN THE FREAKIN GAME.

Oh, how I loved/hated that game.....wait a minute, I'm a mini-retroactive donor for RFN 400.  Hmmm.......

I really wish the virtual console icons on the WiiU home screen would depict the box art.  I know it would be complicated based on different regions, but it would really hit those nostalgic notes and make it feel more like you are collecting the games.
