New name, new logo, same attitude.
BIT.TRIP developer Gaijin Games recently had a makeover, and is now going by the name Choice Provisions.
Choice let the Internet know via this post, stating the reason of the change was because some people see the word "gaijin" having a negative connotation.
Alongside the new handle is a revamped presence, but for the most part it's aesthetic-only. "We’ve swapped domains, updated all of our social media accounts, and we go by a different name now. That’s about all there is to it," Associate Producer Dant Rambo stated in the post. All of Choice Provisions' games that are already released will stay under Gaijin Games, including any sequels.
Robotube, the company's subsidiary developer, is also being rebranded as MiniVisions. The post also confirmed that one of the games in the works at MiniVisions, Woah Dave!, will be coming to 3DS this summer. Check out the trailer below:
