Get your shovels ready.

SteamWorld Dig will be coming to Wii U systems later this year.

Originally released in August of last year for 3DS and later for PC and Playstation systems, SteamWorld Dig will be making its debut on Nintendo home consoles sometime this fall, a post from developer Image & Form Games says.

SteamWorld Dig's gameplay revolves around mining and looking for resources, though the main character, Rusty, is also put in platformer-like scenarios and wields a pickaxe that can be upgraded as the game progresses. Talkback

I'm interested.

I wonder if there will be any extra content. I've been planing to get this eventually. Now I need to decide what I want to get it on.

I can dig this, but I have to admit I'm hoping for a discount for 3DS owners.

I'll totally buy it again. The only reason I stopped playing the 3DS one is I ran out of save slots and didn't wan't to clear my files.

Evan_BJune 05, 2014

I'd hope for some extra content like others have said, but it's really a gem of a game and insanely addicting, so I could almost justify buying it again.

Almost.

NemoJune 06, 2014

I really enjoyed it for 3DS.

NOICE!

Not sure I'd re-buy... but anyone who hasn't played it yet should jump on board. SteamWorld Dig is fantastic and one of my favorite games from last year.

StratosJune 06, 2014

I will buy on one system and hope that we get that unified account system set up in the next year or two.

TurdFurgyJune 06, 2014

I'd be very tempted to rebuy if there's anything different. If not I still recommend it.

Diglett dig, diglett dig, trio trio trio...
