The race to score these will likely be filled with banana peels, shells, and other foreign objects!

The Mario Kart 8 Limited Edition game bundle is coming to North America.

It will be sold exclusively at the Nintendo World Store in New York City. The bundle will include a copy of Mario Kart 8 and a Spiny Blue Shell figurine. All of this will come bundled in a limited edition box.

Nintendo World Store has already started taking pre-orders for the bundle, and will also be holding an early launch party for the game on May, 29 from 8pm to midnight.

A similar bundle has been offered in Europe and Australia, though in those regions it wasn't exclusive to one retail location.

:Q  really? whats the point of that?

I don't care if its exclusive to walmart or gamestop or bestbuy whatever, but only to the nintendo world store why even bother.

So a release that is exclusive to the people in one city on an entire continent.  Makes sense.

Seriously... thanks for nothing Nintendo.

A NYC residents exclusive.... also coming to Europe & Australia.

Why does Nintendo hate America?
and why haven't they opened up a Nintendo World Store in San Francisco yet?

Forget San Fran, give us a Seattle store! Their NA headquarters are here.

But isn't their base of Marketing Operations in SF, what better way to market than with a STORE!!?

I think we can both agree, a West coast store anywhere would be appreciated.
