Fully funded after a significant comeback.

Hex Heroes has recently reached its $80,000 goal hours before the Kickstarter campaign ended earlier today.

The Wii U party RTS title managed to pull in about the last quarter of its funding in the last two days of the campaign. This is in part due to the game's designer, Mario Castañeda, livestreaming a marathon playthrough of Banjo Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. These games were chosen due to Grant Kirkhope having worked on them, and will be Hex Heroes' composer.

Though no stretch goals were yet reached, Prismatic Games is offering continued pledging via PayPal, with most reward tiers still being honored.

Hear, hear!

I'm also very much looking forward to this game, and hope that funding through PayPal continues at least enough to reach the cool extra modes from the first stretch goal. (That should be possible - it's not so far off, right?)

I'm glad it made it.  I'm glad its not another Platformer.  I'll be happy to buy it.
