Get ready for a deluge of rhythmical information...and vocaloid Iwata.

A Chotto Nintendo Direct for the upcoming Diagasso! Band Brothers P for the Nintendo 3DS hit the internet today showing off the game’s various features and modes. The new Band Brothers will allow gamers to play through the game using either button based control configurations or by using the touch screen. While the buttons controls are more or less identical to the original game, the touch screen adds a little more to the experience by allowing players to strum guitar cords, play drums and more.

Up to ten available instrument types can be used in each song. The latest Direct for the game showed off the previously announced vocaloid support for the game. Players can take a picture of their face with the Nintendo 3DS camera and have it placed on an in-game avatar. The avatar is used in on stage events to sing and perform.

Daigasso! Band Brothers will support up to ten player simultaneous gameplay sessions for both online and local play. The game also features an online radio station which has special hosts and offers the ability to select by going through various genres. Additionally, the 2,000 songs that were in the second entry in the series, Daigasso: Band Brothers DX are available for download from day one. For players who are interested in creating their own content in Band Brothers P, they are now able to upload videos of their created content directly to YouTube, a first for the series.

Each copy of the game comes with “tomatoes,” which can be used to download in songs for the game. Each tomato is good for the purchase of one song. If players want to purchase more songs, they can opt to purchase more tomatoes. 1 tomato will cost 60 yen, 5 for 250 yen, 10 for 500 yen, 22 for 1,000 yen. 48 for 2,000 yen, and 75 for 3,000 yen. Up to 3,000 songs can be stored on an SD card. Players have roughly five months to use tomatoes before they turn rotten and are unable to be used.

Daigasso! Band Brothers P is set to release on November 14 for 4,800 yen in Japan. There is still no word about a release in the West. You can view the Chotto Nintendo Direct below.
