The popular Super Famicom fighter is arriving on 3DS next month along with a slew of other old school games.
Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden 2, a Super Famicom fighting game based on the hit anime series, was revealed to be included in Namco Bandai’s upcoming J Legend Retsuden for the Nintendo 3DS. Originally released in Japan in late 1993 (and in France in 1994 as Dragon Ball Z: La Légende Saien), Super Butōden 2 takes place during the Cell Saga and let’s gamers play as the likes of Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Cell, Trunks and more. The game features a story mode, two player multiplayer and a tournament mode.
J Legend Retsuden celebrates the twentieth anniversary of V Jump magazine in Japan and the thirtieth anniversary of the Famicom. The game currently boasts nine titles from the Famicom and Super Famicom based on popular anime. J Legend Retsuden launches in Japan on November 7.
