You come seeking DLC and salty ol' pirates eh?

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag on the Wii U will not be getting DLC support.

In the announcement for the Assassin's Creed IV Season Pass, the Wii U was not mentioned. After contacting PR representatives, Gamereactor Germany confirmed its absence.

The Season Pass includes an additional three hours of gameplay in a new single player story, along with multiplayer characters and the "Kracken Ship Pack." The Wii U version of Black Flag releases on November 22 in Europe and November 29 in North America.

The season pass isn't mentioned but it doesn't mean the game wouldn't get DLC as single packs anyhow--Injustice was the same way.    Usually they don't sell the Season pass on WII U because that would lock the developers into a "contract".  This way if ACIV sells well enough then the DLC can be added afterwords.

But some would argue that it shouldn't be necessary to do that sort of thing.

and then some will go on a nintendoomed rant over the whole thing
