Mario Kart and Smash Bros. are among the new additions to the budget price range.

Four more games will be added to the European Nintendo Selects range of budgeted first-party Wii games on October 18.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Donkey Kong Country Returns and PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure will all be re-released under the Nintendo Selects banner. At most retailers, these chosen titles are typically sold for less than half of the usual recommended retail price for new Wii games.

These additions will increase the total number of Nintendo Selects in Europe to 12. Other titles in this range include Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, WarioWare: Smooth Moves and Wii Sports Resort.

Talkback

"OK, so Donkey Kong, Brawl and Mario Kart are locks. What's the fourth gonna be?"
"I dunno. Pass the darts."

Interesting how the two regions get different games on the line, and three of those just dropped price a bit without joining the Selects line or pricing here.

Why does Europe always get the games I don't own on their line?!

I just wish the articles said when the price drop will take effect because I have 2 of those games, but I've never played (don't shoot me) either of the galaxy games and I'd like to

The prices should already be in effect, but stores may not have put up the new tags yet. They should ring up as the dropped price though, and if they don't you should be able to tell them about the drop and they'll adjust it.

Amazon has the new prices listed, although they're currently out of stock of SMG2, but you can still order it. They also have SMG1 for $15 right now.

SMG2 is the one I've been looking for and I can't find it anywhere.
However, thanks for the heads up on SMG1 I may have to snag that one.
