Looks like we'll have to wait even longer to get this hack 'n slash gem.

Capcom-Unity has announced in their forums that the release of the Wii U version of Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara has been pushed back to September.

This is the second delay the game has had after being originally pushed to August. The game released on other platforms in June of this year, and Capcom has previously stated that they are having issues getting the Wii U version out the door.

It was never that good if you want good like that play WoW!

Lucariofan99, I think you are too young to appreciate this game. It is not a new game it is a re-release of an old awesome Arcade hit from back in the day. D&D is a thousand times better than WoW anyday. In fact D&D is what all other fantasy games are ripping off.

How sure are we that this isn't getting canned?

I've been waiting ages for this game! I've even put off buying Dragon's Crown until after I play this. Man...

The 3 month delay is really terrible, I can't imagine Capcom would've made this such a low priority had it happened to the PS3 or 360 versions.  At this point I think they probably should've just released it as is on time and patched the broken online play later on.

Dragon's Crown is all kinds of awesome.  Just buy BOTH.  It ain't like they're 100 hour RPGs where you only have time for one of them.

The Wii U release for this is like asking a girl out and she doesn't want the awkwardness of outright rejecting you so she says she can't until some date in the future and then when that comes up she pushes it back again, hoping that you'll just forget the whole thing at some point.  It feels like Capcom wants to cancel it but doesn't want the bad PR that could come from that so they're hoping that we all forget about it and the game just quietly disappears.

After their painful shitshow with Megaman since Inafune's departure, they'd be more PR friendly if they just came up-front about it being cancelled
