There is a Typo in your story.  "Delayed" should be "cancelled"


They are not saying it now, but basically that is what is going to happen.  You don't make one of these games because you care about quality...you are cashing in on the characters.  It is obvious they don't care about quality of experience because they are releasing the other versions as is.




No, this is simply them halting and deciding if they want to cancel it or not.

I'm honestly surprised this game wasn't canceled when Cartoon Network finally put the awful Young Justice animated series out of its misery.

Awful... Young Justice... series? What is wrong with you?

I have taste, and I've seen more than my share of Greg Weisman series that take so long developing their plot threads that the series dies before they ever go anywhere. Granted, the rival Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes series had its own problems, but at least its plot threads (mostly) went somewhere and I actually cared about the characters.

Young Justice had potential, but that potential was summarily executed by the writers with that stupid time jump and total cast change at the start of Season 2. The show never really recovered from it.

Yep. Young Justice was so amazingly bad. And Weisman made it even worse by annoying his own fans on purpose. It's cool when creator has his own site and answers questions and stuff, it's not cool when majority of his own fans say that "shipping sucks, obnoxious phrases suck", and instead of fixing it, Weisman argues that we're in the wrong here and he knows better so shut up and knowingly doubles down on it.
Well, i guess, he showed me. I barely made it through first season, watched absolutely retarded finale and couldn't bring myself to watch second season. From what i hear it got even worse with more underdeveloped characters and stupid plotlines.
Game didn't looked much better than the show, so i guess we've dodged the bullet.

Yeah, seriously. And remember all those Young Justice episodes that ended with someone stepping out of the shadows and going "everything is going according to The Light's Plan" after an episode where it looked like the heroes finally stopped their plans? I swear there must have been at least a dozen, and that got irritating quickly...yet Weisman kept doing that.

Well, I didn't think it was that bad. It did some things better than Teen Titans, at least. And some things better than Avatar.

I whole-heartedly disagree.  Yes, the pacing was slow, but I enjoy slow pacing, as oppossed to quick pacing with no time to develop characters.  The only problem I saw with the series is the final episodes never truly delivered on the epic story.  And as forthelight always outthinking the heroes...that was my favorite part.  In DC the heroes are always more powerful than the villians...because the death of the innocent is see for a villian.  So it was nice to see how villians in such a world react and outthink the heroes.  Season 2 was great storytelling.

Yep, I also enjoyed Young Justice more often than not, and I looked forward to watching it every week.  The animation of the fight scenes was often impressive, and there wasn't anything on the air that was quite like it.  I get that it wouldn't appeal to everyone. 

The only weird thing about it to me (at least during the first season) was that Batman seemed more well-adjusted than Superman.  :)

That being said, the screenshots of the game did look like garbage.  I can imagine that because the show was cancelled, there might be a question of who holds the publishing rights.  I can also imagine that Cartoon Network cut funding for the game's development.

Young Justice took place on a different Earth than we usually see in the DC Universe...which is why some of the characters seemed different.


They really wanted to play up Batman/Bruce being a Father figure and role model to the team. 


I really liked the story between Superman and Superboy.  I can not imagine what I would think if I was cloned by my enemy and my clone was mixed with his DNA.  I would doubt him, and worry as well.  Part of me would probably hate him.
