Unfortunately, the survival instinct of Activision is too strong to take a risk.
The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct will not see a Wii U release in Australia.
While the game is still set for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the Wii U version was canned in Australia "based on customer demand" according to Activision.
"As with every game release, publishers decide which platforms to release based on customer demand. Unfortunately it wasn’t there for the Wii U sku on The Walking Dead," the company's statement reads. This also happened to the release of 007 Legends on Wii U, which is also from Activision.
The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is being released on March 26 in North America and March 29 in Europe.
