All your favorite shows are brought to you on Wii U with limited commercials.

Hulu Plus is now available on Wii U. The app, which can be downloaded from the Nintendo eShop or by launching the placeholder app on the home screen which will prompt for an update, will allow access to the Hulu Plus video service for members who pay the $7.99 subscription fee.

On Wii U, the GamePad screen can be used to look up more information on the current video playing, while the actual show plays on the TV.

The service is not yet tied into Nintendo TVii, which is set to launch in December.

Ah, did not know that.

I thought Nintendo TVii wasn't really a service provider but rather the TV guide to end all TV guides with some Miiverse integration thrown in.

If there are Miiverse groups for individual shows, Nintendo just won the internet.

I believe there are, ShyGuy, but built within TVii. Not Miiverse. So yeah, a WINNAR IS NINTENDO.

Stoked about TVii integration. They need to get that shiz, along with using the Pad as a remote for my audio receiver, out IMMEDIATELY.

I like how they included Hulu Plus on Wii U consoles sold in Canada, despite Hulu not being available here.

Seriously.
Its annoying I can turn on my TV that is set to turn on my Reciever but, if its switched the PS3, because the Wii U doesn't support DLNA, Blu-ray, and the netflix app isn't as good, I have to dig and fine my receiver remote that can be an epic task at my house.
