2 Fast 4 Savvy Mean Cake Forms

With a week like last week, you'd think Nintendo would give us a break and let us savor the last update's content. But no, they just go ahead and keep giving us fun games to play. Shame on them. eShop gets a new "constant runner" in the form of 2 Fast 4 Gnomz, a happenin' new demo for Style Savvy: Trendsetters, and Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations Alive!, but that one is really for next week. Nintendo will cheat like that. DSiWare fan? You're covered with Spot It! Mean Machines, a find-the-item puzzler, and Cake Ninja 2.

eShop Games:

2 Fast 4 Gnomz - $4.99-

Constant runners are the "it" thing I suppose. It's nice to be done with that tower defense hump we couldn't get over, but now we're overrun with these. However, 2 Fast 4 Gnomz plays things differently. Akin to the SNES title Lost Vikings, you're put in control of four different Gnomz, each with their own ability. You can switch between each on the fly, and with powers like gliding and time manipulation, things can get pretty tricky. But such hard work doesn't come without reward! Certainly not. Running these gamuts successfully will grace with you many, many pairs of socks.

Style Savvy: Trendsetters - Demo -

Nintendo is going all out on this one, folks. In this, Style Savvy: Trendsetters second demo, players can create the outfit and makeup of their model. That's expected. Where things get nuts is you can then go online and explore Fashion Plaze, a shop where you can browse other player's created outfits and purchase them with in-game currency. Anything that you buy can then be transferred over to the full game. Hit up this link to read a preview of the game from Carmine Red.

FreakyForms Deluxe: Your Creations Alive! - $19.99

An enhanced version of last year's FreakyForms title, Deluxe brings new elements to the table. As before, players create Formees on the touch screen, dragging and dropping objects and body parts as they please. Picture a more lighthearted Dr. Frankenstein. Once created, the Formees explore four different landscapes, taking on side-missions and collecting eggs and garbage! New to Deluxe is multiplayer, which allows players to explore one of these words together. In addition, a simple RPG mode has been added on, throwing players into dungeons where they must battle against enemy Formees! The battles are all AI controlled, so no, this isn't the next Final Fantasy. If you're an owner of the original, all your content can transfer over. Follow the link to check out James Jones preview of the game.

DSiWare Games:

Spot It! Mean Machines! - $1.99

Have you ever walked into your younger siblings room and tried to find something on their messy, messy floor? Like, somewhere among all those toys and junk is your car keys and you reeeeally need to get going. Well, turns out you've been preparing for this game your entire life. Race the clock and find hidden objects in these real life photographs.

Cake Ninja 2 - $4.99/500 Points

Whether they be man or turtle, ninjas are pretty awesome. They can, though, be pretty violent, wouldn't you say? If we're on the same page, then take a peek at Cake Ninja 2. Have a passion to punish pastries? To torment tarts? Dish out damage to desserts? Then you're in luck. With a combination of four single player and four multiplayer modes, there's plenty of opportunities to slice and dice cakes as they fly through the DSi's touch screen.

Up until I read this, I fully expected Freakyforms to be a $39.99 game.

Now... hmmm... this might be just perfect as a download then.
